Once there was love so pure and True
She told me she loves med and I told her I love you

The words on this page
When you're feelin' confused and you gotta get away,
Just remember me and the words I'm gonna say.
Things'll get better but they might get worse,
Just be happy that you're not in a hurst,
You'll never know when the tides gonna change,
You'll never know when your life'll rearange
Take a cold shower when you cant stand the heat,
Play with your drums if you wanna find the beat,
When you can't find your way know it gets dark at night,
You can't win a battle if you don't put up a fight,

"I can't take it!
I'm not gonna make it!
You thought I tried but I faked it!"

When your weak I'll make you strong,
When you're sad I'll sing a [smeared/crossed out word] song,
When you cry i'll dry your tears,
When your afraid i'll quiet your fears.

The words on this page
I got work to do but i'll put it off again,
How can i be trapped in a room with many doors,
Maybe If i just picked myself up off the floor.
Can't open the window must be locked from outside,
In my empty room there's just no place to hide.
On a shattered pane is a painted pretty scene,
Though it seems sorta dull, my senses aren't to keen.
They finally came true, my deepest, darkest fears,
i've been locked in here for so many, many years.
I often here people laughing and people crying too,
They don't know i'm in here, haven't got a clue.
I scream out loud and bang on the door,
Tap on the window and stomp on the floor.
It'll probably go on like this till the day I die,
They never seem to here me, please tell me why.

They attached you 'cause you're so succeptable

If you don't get it today you'll get it tommorow
When I tried to lend you wouldn't borrow
you better take it easy
When the going gets tough
you better take it easy
Learn enough's enough
After awhile you'll see that fightings no use
your safest option is calling a truce

If you keep on talking
Then I'll just keep on walking
I've told a million stories myself
You know I don't listen to anyone else
In my life through the ups and downs
I walked with my notebook
I've written it all down
And through everything
There's only one thing that I've found
History repeats itself
Staying in the same old places
Staring at the same old faces
And you're expecting something new
Well you just haven't got a clue

The words on this page
Seems like the most peaceful time of my life
Is when I'm lying alone in bed
My mind is not my own
The voice I hear is softer
As it echoes through my head
Lasting words flash like pictures
Swimming in my memory
I want to capture them forever
Never forgetting all you've done for me
Putting my body and soul in harmony
A flash light in the wilderness
A warm touch of tenderness
Inspiration to do my best
Leave to Him all the rest
God up in Heaven
Sends his Angels down to earth
Yet very few eyes can measure
How much they're really worth
I have never been known to be advicetess
My tip to you is priceless

The pain built up inside
Off the bridge of sorrow you go leaping

Something there was going on
But you missed it by a mile
I was there with a buddy of mine
And all we did was smile

Didn't need to worry
About impressing any fools
Didn't go looking for nothing
So we didn't have to keep our cool

My buddy got shut off by the owner
And he only had two beers
I even argued that he was Twenty nine
And that he was wise beyond his years

I danced with a thirty five year old
Who french kissed me on the floor
I ended up slipping her my number
But only god knows what's in store

Someone said Wasabi
And everybody bowed
We went to a bar
Where almost anything's allowed

No, No I never get no rest
No, No I never settle for second best
It is all or nothing
And so far zero
One for the villain
None for the hero

Even Superman gets tired
Now he rides his horse
I'm setting out for my journey
Right now I'm just plotting my course
Not moving from East to west
Ain't no cheating on this here test
I've given up goin' from town to town
Doing my best not to go from up to down

Second rate, Second best
None's ever passed the test
Until I studied you
And you taught me
A lesson in love
Called chemistry
Talk about extra credit
I never would have believed it
Find myself asking if I really said it
Never before did I conceive it

I've been waiting for so long
[crossed out: I was] too young to settle for second best
I began to wonder if I was wrong
I am too idealistic I will confess

Well, you've been climbing the ladder
You've caught sight of the top wrung
Seen scowling faces and tongues that flatter
Not sure where one ends and the other's begun
On the very tip of your toes
Starting to lose all feeling
Ever wonder where it goes?
Figured it wasn't even worth stealing
But you find your guess incorrect
Looking around and everyone you suspect
Just who would have the will to mame?
To take something lost with out even a gain
A desperate act with no motivation
Like taking food from a sufferer of starvation

I have many hats
A fisher man's hat yet I don't fish
Even a birthday hat
Yet I have yet to make a wish

I own a base ball cap
And upon it my favorite team
As well as a straw hat
Reminding me of a pretty nature scene

A stocking hat upon my ears
Though Strange not upon my feet
Of course I own a narrow blue visor
Which exposes my scalp to warm summer's heat

But since meeting you I have traded all my coverings
Varying in all shapes and sizes
I now wear Always an invisable crown of happiness
And each coming day its height rises

Show you all the things that hurt me

I once rode the roller coaster
Up, down and around it went
Then one day when I lost my ticket
I'd found all my money spent

The roller still whirled me around
Shook out my faith and dignity
I never will try my might on the town
Pretended that it never effected me
What I saw was of someone else
So I never doubted my self
Because of course nothing ever bothered me

My senses are sharp as a tack
For so long the five points on my star were so dull
I gathered my horse and my wagon
And I got back on track
Freed myself from that living hell

Every hoofprint and footstep leads me farther away
After the mountains I've climbed it's all down hill
Passing ghost towns full of crumbling decay
When your only defense is your iron will
You cannot listen to what others say

Just me and my horse
And the miles ahead
Setting my own course
So sick of being lead
Heading towards the north
Yes that's what I said

The Middle isn't forming
Anything that isn't habit forming is just awaste of time
Not everything deals with money, no nickels, no quarters, no dimes
There are somethings that control you, others that you control
Like when your mind sees colors - From green to white from white to gold

Escaped the demons

AS YOU LIKE IT questions by Tom Jensen

1. In AS YOU LIKE IT do you think that Shakespeare included Touchstone in this play considering that he isn't essential to the main plot? Do you think it might have anything to do with Silvius and Phebe?

2. Are there any characters or sets of characters in AS YOU LIKE IT that are either opposites or very similar to each other? If there is then what issues do you think Shakespeare was drawing attention to?
---
I do what I do
But at least I do it well
Will it get the better of me
Well only time will tell

Extreme in nature
No moderation
Trade your future
For a new sensation
Hoping you don't go
On a permanent vacation
But in this world
Both life and death are cause for celebration

With the waves gettin higher
There's no place to dock the ship
You're starting to look tired
Let me give you a tip

If anyone waving a flag
Or any one holding a badge
Comes your way
Listen to what I say
And run away
Don't look back
Grab your bags and pack
And that's a fact

The words on this page
(You can see a million miles tonight
but you cant get very far)

The weight has been lifted
That comes with being gifted
The plates have just shifted
feel the weight being lifted
Tomorrows another day
School books been thrown away
Homework tonight is planning on how
much to drink
Raise your glasses, you dont have to
think
Summers around the corner
spring now fills the air
The weight has been lifted
Teacher's gone he is not there
