I won't be fixxing houses for ever.
We all know that I can do better
People and their lives can change like the weather
Just look at my wife and the fact I haven't met her... yet
I just do the best I can
I'm a simple man
But I got big plans
Someday I'll start a band...
And someday we'll play a set
I won't be going to school [strikethrough: [?]] until I'm almost dead
for if I got too smart my brain might get too big for my head
I finally dropped all the deadweight 'cause I was sinking I was made of
like led

The words on this page
(4) Hopefully Sometimes all I need to heal and cure
Is a little rest and peace in my own back yard
A lone by myself without anybody fucking with me...
Now... could I get that please ???

---

There is only one person on this Earth who I have ever truly revealed myself to...
To everyone else I'm just a voice on a video,
Telephone, a picture on a business card, a paragraph
in an email on a page in a book,
That's been my choice and has led to a
hollow existence... a collection of bits and
pieces that could never accurately potray what
is embodied in the whole... I'm trying to
change that. If I can then I think that
I shall find the fulfillment that my
heart is now seeking... if I can't then
let my failures act as a warning to
anyone who happens to read this. and if I
do succeed, then look towards me for hope and
inspiration so that you might follow my
lead carving out your own path
footsteps... within the mold and contours of your
own footprints.

Yet Regardless of where my fate lies
whatever path this where I end up
on this great journey that is life just
know that there is wisdom to be found
in my story... in ALL of OUR
stories.
Much love,
Tom

The words on this page
The mounting problems of the world -
there not really there
When you see somebody bleeding and you
just stop and stare

Well my wedding ring is my only bling bling
And I still think I'm cool in my twelve dollar shoes
This song I sing, Hell, I download it for free
As long as I can make a living that suits me

I don't need a mansion in Beverly Hills
Only enough for a vacation and to pay my bills
I don't need a fan club or any icons in my tower
I just need the people cause the people have the power!
The mounting problems of the world -
There ain't no crime in my rhyme
(cut the first three blocks, from the first 'The mounting problems of the world - / there not really there' down to the first 'That's using psychology... through ecology')

Why is it that Sunday Catholics seem to rule
the world?
They make up all the rules for the boys and girls
Yet an hour a week is the only time they follow
Concerting all these poison pills they try to
get everyone to swallow them

---

They step to the pulpit so you can hear them preach
As they smile as they lie then turn their back on
what they teach
And we're all losing faith when you don't walk
straight
Time is of the essence and it's getting late
The mounting problems of the world -
To some they're not just down here but up there
Hey, at least we're nice enough to share

Sure I know that some of you will never change
Still find you safety in the ball and the chain
In the sick and deranged in the hall of shame

Tight roping the line of infamy and fame
Helping to spread ignorance with the placed blame
Causing cancer of the mind within a thousand
at a time
Raping and pillaging all you can
-nothing gets left behind - it's time to face
The mounting problems of the world -- our fears
We've got a right to bare arms -- [?]
The mounting problems of the world..
I say we've got the right to arm bears.

---

I try to block it out but there's no escape
I'd give away freely what so many want to take
I wear my heart on my sleeve like it's written
on my shirt
Yes, there are diamonds in this world - but it's
mostly dirt

So much waste... so much to clean
That's reality... So perhaps it's better to dream
That the people on the street - They are not real
And those who are hunting cannot be healed
The mounting problems of the world -
They're not really there
If a tree falls in the woods -
does anybody care?

I am not cruising
one of those people in your
Mercedes SUV...
Whose battle cry is "change it in the name
of corporate greed!"
Laughing about how the worker at Walmart
don't mean nothing to me.
Fill it up - on vanity
Looking good but getting 10 MPG
Building your castle on inhumanity
Ain't getting getting any money [?]
That's using psychology... through ecology

Somewhere in here
I don't know where,
There is something greater than I
somewhere out there.
In fact I know right where
that awaits my wife my beautiful bride
Changed my life in the blink of an eye
If all [illegible] feels right as you lay by [illegible] side
Turning off the light and then saying good night

My wife awaits
At home with a little black man
Hey relax these are more facts than just that
She'll never get slapped
He's our kitty - it's only our cat, man
You're thinking of Robin
While I'm talking 'bout Batman

---

Nine o'clock at night is the time

Who could forget it? Another life...
I've never led it
Regrets are pathetic
My quote of the day - everyday
Let sleeping dogs lie
Well, not where I lay

Waiting for monkeys to evolve
Is like saying you're watching the
earth revolve
Or praying to a porcelin god
Thinking that the puzzle can be
solved
Child... what are you doing that for?
Oh my child... you could be doing
so much more
