The words on this page
I bring people to the truth
shine a light into their eyes
I give them something to believe in
Bring them to a place where they can unite
I slap people in the face
If that's what it takes
To get them unhypnotized
Sometimes a little tough love
Works on both the hawks and the doves
Don't want them to shut up - just want them to fly right
Why can't we play nice?
---
She left for work without saying goodbye
Just shook her head and then rolled her eyes
I'm not sure what I did to her
Because when you're hungover as hell
Your morning's a blur

My little black cat jumped on my bed
He looked at me and this is what he said:
He said I got to get out of this house
Get up open up the door and let me out

It took nearly three days

First I must meditate
On the other train

Along with his mom
Who was seven months pregnant

with pot - if it didn't have tracks I'd have forgot where I parked.
Oh yeah over here in the parking lot.

The words on this page
She's MORE of a
Got a flare for the dramatic
Than Captain Gordon the fisherman's
got Haddock
or your radio in Timbuctoo's got static
sometimes it's not who you know
But who knows about you
And then finds out about me
That makes this comedy so tragic
Here in lies both the loss... and the
Magic

What more is there for one to need?
Everything is made from Magic and Loss
That's what I learned from Lou Reed

coffee pot wisdom gas priced knowledge and
it's no cup of tea for me to be.... me

that
I said it sounded like a dead man would write
And you can take that as you want I'm square with the deputy

We're broke and we need fixing
Never had money, no that ain't what we're asking
Glory be to who? You?
Well it seems to me there's a lot less of that than before left to bask in

He's got more fame
The LeBronecon...

Cavalier.
once LOST
Cleveland a prince
The day gained
Miami a Knight
Sadly
Cleveland had
That day
today lost a son, prince
the two shall re-unite

he's come Home
As
Now known as The Lord of the Rings
Everybody's getting ready for
the return of the king

Sometimes the unlucky get lucky...
and then unlucky... And then
they end up getting
lucky
Again

That's where we stand
other times the lucky
get unlucky... and
things
stay sucky
But that's enough about
Kansas

fans! (haha)

The LeBronecon...
That means he's money.
He's got more game
He's got more fame in just his name that
He'll triple double the entire G.D.P.

your city!

IT'S ALRIGH By Brian Rainstorm

Meanwhile
The past is mad at the future
For making plans that don't include
him
As The face of the man of the moon
still seemed surprised by the sunrise Fallen
Like tears
of the clouds, from the eyes
now dragged across the sky by the wind
being

IF there be more wisdom in
Silence than in spoken word
then do not speak. It's all right
It's all right
IF there is more to be learned from
an empty page than one full of
words then do not write...

The Present felt alone, so she
soon left and went back home

The Future came early and yet
his date arrived late, which just
goes to show one can plan out one's good fortune
but never create his fate

"Some people will just NEVER get
it... Not even if you gave it to
them." - Brian Rainstorm

"The more problems you have (or
think you have) then the more cures
they can come up with to sell you.
The worse you feel inside the more
Things they'll have that they'll tell you
for your outside will make you feel
better. But that never works nor
was it ever supposed to. That's when
you realize that all you ever were to
them was just another number, another
cog in the machine, another pawn on
their chessboard and another soldier
in their war." - Brian Rainstorm

When she said her cell phone was on
"I'm too far gone" was my response
I just might tell you some thing
I've mentioned a time or two before
How a meeting in the middle
Might really be a step forward
But I don't push it...
Nah, I don't go there...
since there's so much at stake
I pull back in fear

I just painted myself into a corner
Looks like I'm in for one long afternoon
Lately I been feeling like a musician
Every instrument I touch is outta tune...

just went for
I a long walk in the sun
Far away from everyone
With just my music,
my past and my soul
a log book of poems...
that are beyond my control

All this blue sky and sunshine
Certainly hasn't been wasted on me
While some may say I've past the prime of my life
I guess they're not seeing the same picture as me

Since I try to get better every day that I live
my best day shall be my last on this earthy
For I don't mind being taken once I've nothing useful left to give
Once I lose my value and my sense of self worth

Until that day
Dontcha know I'm in it
To win it - yeah, I'm all in... all the way.

while mine three days stale
Still the time was a pleasant one
Despite what you'll call 'our meal'

Once we feasted on fresh pheasant
And perhaps a glass or two of champagne
Toasted as the sun was setting
Now a toast: "Shall it shine once again"

While it lasted
It sure was fun
But now..
Look out Hooverville!
'Cause here I come...

Who doesn't have two ways to tell their story?
Yeah, one's okay... but [at] times it tends to get
too tedious, monotonous, long-winded, tiresome and plain old
redundant, and stale, boring...
Oh, but the second one is great because the
glorified saint with the background of a
legendary hero

All the children chant your name
As the soldiers proudly proclaim:
If they die for you 'tis not in vain
You who can hold power yet yield restraint
Yet there's no tone 'tis all black and white
not even gray
No imagination of a world of colors
no blending
No vairience, no vibrance or shades

I'd rather be me and be boring
Than be him with all his cutout cardboard

Yeah, that's not exactly what I'd call glory
Actually to me, it sounds pretty lame

I just moved the clouds with my mind
Because I needed some sunshine
At least I can say that I tried
This act of hubris personified
Nah, I ain't afraid to die...
With my good name attached to a good cause
I ain't afraid to fight even if gotta say I lost...
