What Collaborhythm Is

Tom Jensen is a 47-year-old lyricist from Salem, MA. Over 29 years he wrote 433 original songs across 34 albums — everything from gentle G-rated love songs to explicit personal narratives, political commentary, grief, humor, addiction, and recovery. The range is the point.

He built collabtunes.com to house all of it — the full catalog, free and accessible — and to launch something bigger: a live collaborative songwriting venue where musicians, audiences, and online participants co-create new songs in real time and share in the profits.

Every lyric on this site is free to use. The one condition: credit the source. That attribution chain is the engine of the whole project.

How It Works

Three Moves

Move 1 — The Free Catalog
All 433 lyrics are free to use with mandatory attribution. Musicians, singers, producers, and fans can build on them, cover them, translate them, and remix them — with credit. The chain grows with every use. The name compounds.
Move 2 — The Live Venue
A physical space + online platform where musicians come not to perform finished songs but to create new ones live. A moderator relays audience input to the stage in real time. Contributors register via an app and receive 3–10% of future earnings from any song they helped create.
Move 3 — Album 35
After 34 albums of free work establish the name and the quality, Tom writes Album 35 as a bespoke commission for the right partner — exclusively, for serious money. The free catalog is the proof. Album 35 is the payoff.
The Catalog

What Exists

34 albums: 10 Song Lists (standalone thematic collections) and 24 Set Lists (full-length concept albums). 120 songs have been recorded with verified musicians. The remaining 313 exist as complete lyrics — written, rated, and ready for music and singers.

The catalog is rated G through X. Five entire albums are fully clean and family-safe. The explicit material is clearly labeled. Whatever you're looking for, you can find it — or avoid it.
